Been contemplating having one of those but the official NaNoWriMo widgets* are broken. May incorporate the one you linked when I actually get round to writing my novel instead of being employed, rewriting people’s Phd applications and sleeping.

*On the other hand the facebook app is functional but lousy, instead of checking with the NaNoWriMo website automatically you have to click a button every time you want it to check. Suckiness.

Eh, I used to do that all the time last year, in-fact I fully believe my late awakenings were the reason I failed so horrendously at reaching 50000 words. Also, concerning plot, I fully recommend ripping off as many ideas as possible and throwing as much humour in as possible, it never fails.

Thought work would have programmed me into waking up early. Woke up at 3pm. Woke up again at 4pm. Fail.

Will try and make it to one of the events on November 31, one of them starts at 8pm, surely I can’t miss that?

Plot? I’ve tried to avoid thinking about. I might try and get some ideas at this meeting on Saturday. Being unprepared tends to be more fun anyway :)

Have you thought of a topic yet? Or are you going to wait until the 1st and hope something comes to you? :-)

I’d like to join in, but frankly I think I’d be shit at writing something that wasn’t an academic paper.
